Small Investor's Classroom

I'm a small-building owner in Anaheim, and I also do property management for smaller properties in Orange County. I co-chair the AAOC Education Committee with Mike Somogyi. Mike will be concentrating on the education needs of larger owners and management companies, while I will focus on the needs of smaller owners.

The goal of the Education Committee is to help educate our membership with the best management of their apartment buildings. This will include legal information, Fair Housing, HUD, maintenance, management, etc.

This column will be used to highlight the upcoming events, meetings and programs to help you run your apartment building efficiently. For example, we will help you get up to speed on the new forms needed to comply with the ever-increasing laws concerning our industry or guide you through the ever important tenant screening process.
